DISABLE ADBLUE (ADBLUE OFF | SCR OFF)

Disable AdBlue / SCR (ADBLUE OFF |  SCR OFF). In order to comply with the high emission regulations (to reduce nitrogen oxides), the new vehicles with the Euro 6 emission standard must refuel with the urea AdBlue.

AdBlue consists of urea mixed with distilled water. The operating principle of the overall system is based on a chemical reaction of selective catalytic reduction in which harmful nitrogen oxides are converted into nitrogen and water vapor. AdBlue is injected in front of the SCR catalyst This process itself is controlled by various SCR sensors. The system is very sensitive and susceptible to failure, which leads to many problems in everyday driving.

Who does not know it, the spectacle usually begins with a display in the instrument cluster "Please refill AdBlue – No engine start in 1500 km". This message can no longer be ignored after the third time at  the latest, because then the engine goes into emergency mode and the vehicle only drives with greatly reduced power. With an empty tank or a defect in the sensors, the vehicle can no longer be started.

The disadvantages of AdBlue

  • Starting the engine is no longer possible with an empty AdBlue tank.
  • The high costs of refueling.
  • The freezing point, it is only -11 degrees Celsius.
  • Decomposition begins at about 60 degrees Celsius.
  • Another disadvantage is the high susceptibility to faults (many cost-intensive workshop visits).

No problem, we solve the problem for you effectively and without damage.

The control of the AdBlue module is deactivated in the software of the engine control unit.

After the software intervention, the car drives without AdBlue at full power and no further restrictions. There is also no longer any entry stored in the error memory.
